Disney Dining Plans for 2019
When the Pandemic hit in 2020, Disney did away with all of its dining plans. We have heard that they will be returning by the end of 2022, but we do not have any prices or plans, so this post is for nostalgia purposes only until further notice!
When it comes to adding a dining plan to your upcoming Disney World vacation, there are a few things to look at and consider. First, you must be staying in an on-property Disney Resort to be able to select a dining plan. Also, please do a little research or speak with your Travel Agent to see if a Disney Dining Plan is a good idea for your family. I will say that there are pros and cons, and I will also say that we have always booked a dining plan. We have visited multiple times, and we have tried all plans, so here are our thoughts.
Our Thoughts on the Disney Dining Plans
If you are looking to have the ability to stop whenever you want and grab a snack or a bite to eat whenever you get hungry, the Quick Service Dining plan would be the best option. If you are looking to book multiple sit-down reservations, table-service, or character dining reservations, or if you are looking to try a few of the two-credit specialty dining options, then the Deluxe Dining plan might make the most sense. We prefer the Disney Dining Plan as it gives us the opportunity to plan and make reservations at a few of our favorite locations as well as grab a quick bite to eat for lunch or breakfast using our quick service credits. We also enjoy the fact that every table-service and every quick-service credit includes an alcoholic beverage. If you really want to max out the value of your dining plan, you should take advantage of this benefit!
